Natural Life is a feature-length documentary about five individuals who, as youths, received the most severe sentence given to convicted adults—“natural life” or life without parole.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with Tirtza Even, artist and filmmaker; Mariame Kaba, Project NIA Director; and Shobha Mahadev, Project Director of the Illinois Coalition for the Fair Sentencing of Children, a project of the Children and Family Justice Center at Northwestern University School of Law, moderated by Jill Petty.
